New 5v5 Rush Mode

The pitch covers 41.5% of the area of a traditional 11v11 football pitch, creating a tight and intense game environment that emphasizes on quick decisions.

EA Sports FC25 Ultimate Team

The biggest news this year is the introduction of Ultimate Team Rush in EA Sports FC 25. This mode lets you bring your favorite Player Item, team up with friends, and compete in intense matches to earn rewards that enhance your FC25 Ultimate Team (FUT) roster.

Additionally, FC IQ introduces Manager Items with real-world tactical setups and Player Roles that influence your team's playstyle from the season's start. Why is FIFA 25 still called EA Sports FC?

The transition from FIFA to EA Sports FC continues in 2025. EA Sports has lost the FIFA license in what ends a 30-year partnership. An end of an era. However, good news for football gaming fans everywhere, EA Sports will still continue to make football games under the EA Sports FC series.

But, are FIFA games gone forever? According to the respected sports magazine ‘The Athletic', the FIFA franchise is still set to make a comeback with games developed by third-party studios, though specifics and release dates remain unclear.
