Guide to the new PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now come together as they merged into a new membership service, after years of being separated. PS Now disappears and there are three new PS Plus subscription Tiers: Essential, Extra and Premium (Deluxe in non-streaming markets). Each tier provides more features and a catalog of high quality games. In this guide we collected all the information you need to know. Check out our PS Plus page to get straight into a subscription.

Introducing New PS Plus: Essential, Extra & Premium

So, what is the new PlayStation Plus about? By bringing the two services together, a new PS Plus membership is born, that provides more choice and value to the customers. Which means that Sony created a diverse game portfolio for gamers who subscribe to Extra or Premium (Deluxe). The first Tier, Essential, is basically the old Plus service, with all the benefits you had before.
