In September 2023, Xbox merged its former Live Gold subscription into the Game Pass Core tier. This is an automatic change so no worries, you don’t have to do a thing!
When you install a game, you can play it as much as you want until your subscription ends. After that, the game remains installed, but to continue playing it simply get another Game Pass Code and use your prepaid credit to resubscribe or buy the game permanently!
Day one game releases are not available for Game Pass Core but are included in the Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
