Sniper Elite 5
The Sniper Elite series has come a long way to become one of the most anticipated World War II sniping experiences. And Sniper Elite 5 is bigger, better and more fun than ever for the PlayStation 5.
As in previous titles, the game's lore revolves around a fictional story in World War 2 France. In summary, the player guides one of the characters from the US Rangers, whose task is to locate and reveal the mystery around a super-secret Nazi plan called Operation Kraken. Once the player gets in control, they have a plethora of new items, weapons and means to reach the ultimate goal of liquidating the high-ranking Nazi officers. The updated traversal system features new ziplines, sliding down slopes, moving along edges, and even a bit of parkour. Many customizations for your sniper weapon and even pistols on workbenches throughout the enormous map give an even deeper layer to the game.
One of the game's signature features, the X-ray executions, are back and more brutal and lifelike than ever. The visual artists make sure you thoroughly experience the impact of every bullet you shoot. And the best news to those who like to play with friends, the game comes with an enhanced multiplayer mode where up to 16 players can fight to outrank each other on the battlefield. If one-on-one battle is your style you can also choose to play the game in co-op mode with a friend.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong
What if vampires lived in the real world and had a powerful role in society? A plotline seen before in many books, films and other media and now it again takes its place in the gaming world. The latest is Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, a story-driven RPG where you solve intricate mysteries of the modern vampire world. Like Life is Strange or Telltale's Walking Dead, narrative-driven games gained a huge follower base, and Swansong is no different.
In this game, players control three vampires whose storylines are intertwined, and their ultimate fate depends solely on the player's decisions. These characters have unique abilities which can be improved during gameplay. Players have freedom of how they want to approach the non-playable characters (NPCs) of the game: do they choose to seduce, intimidate or simply avoid them by leveling up their stealth skills? The visually pleasing modern society of vampires is an exciting open world to dive into if role-playing and mystery solving are your idea of a good time.

New Video Game Releases for Xbox in May 2022
Trek to Yomi
Sidescroller games made a huge comeback around 10 years ago and with Trek to Yomi, the genre proves that they’re still a keeper. There's a huge leap from Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog to indie games like Inside and Unravel, and still, Trek to Yomi shows some unique aspects we love to see more often. Although the game is traditionally a 2D sidescroller, it mixes the playfield with 3D elements, creating the feeling of 3-dimensional space.
Trek to Yomi is a samurai fighting game with a revenge story twist. Once players hop onto the action, they can instantly see the undeniable beauty of the black and white art direction. It feels like being in a classic Kurosawa movie, famous for epic samurai films. As the character slices its way through villages and cities, we learn more about the villains and the reason behind the plot for revenge. There are two main weapon types: swords and bows and players have to learn how to use them while dodging and parrying different enemy types. Being true to the aggressive samurai films, the game shows a lot of blood and gore, which gives the game a nice dark touch for fans of that genre.

Deliver Us the Moon
How does it feel to become humanity's last chance? Can anyone handle that burden? You can experience this pressure in the post-apocalyptic setting of Deliver Us The Moon, where the player controls a lone astronaut in space.
Being alone in space is a well-working theme for many sci-fi movies and games. The infinite unknown and emptiness make players uncomfortable in the game's thrillful story. Your main task is to gather resources to save humankind from extinction. While doing usual astronaut tasks and solving puzzles, the player can better get to know the protagonist they control.
The game's graphics are gorgeous, ultra-realistic, mixed with trippy visuals, possibly coming from the protagonist's hallucinations of being alone at the space station. Even though the game is short, critics recommend this game for its thrilling story and unique visual direction.

New Video Game Releases for Nintendo Switch in May 2022
Evil Dead: The Game
The cult-classic horror flick from 1981, Evil Dead, became an overnight sensation. The movie's over-the-top gore scenes, with cliché characters and cringe humor, were the perfect blend for a Friday night fright. And it's still an inspiration for many movies and video games. The Evil Dead series has had numerous games in recent years, with Evil Dead: The Game as the latest iteration.
Evil Dead: The Game is a multiplayer co-op and PvP (player versus player) game where the fans of the genre have to smash, kick, push, and demolish zombies and opposing players. People can choose to be one of the main characters (like the iconic Ash Williams) or be a creature of darkness. Both sides can be upgraded with new skills and weapons to make the opposing team's life more miserable. The devs put a bunch of useful and funny weaponry into the game: guns, bombs, torches and traps. One particular weapon called the "jumpscare trap" gives a loud jump scare scene when someone steps in, keeping you on your toes.
Either you choose to play co-op with friends against the army of darkness or others from the internet, you'll definitely have a thrilling laugh!
