New Video Game Releases for PlayStation in March 2022
Gran Turismo 7
The hero of all console racing simulator games, Gran Turismo (GT), is back with its 7th official title with many new tricks under its hood. For the 25th anniversary of the franchise, developer Polyphony Digital brought back all the little and bigger things which gave GT its legendary status in the first place. The world map, the license tests, the original tracks dating back to 1997, as well as little things, like taking care of the oil change, and many others, are back.
Gran Turismo 7 is a game with an enormous content list, which can be overwhelming for newcomers. To make it easier to get up to speed with the game, the creators made the Gran Turismo Café mode. Players can complete Menu Books, which explains the tracks and cars featured in the franchise, because, with over 400 cars and 34 locations which contain 90 different track layouts, this game is going to be huge. This goes for gameplay, as well as on a graphics level.
The music selection is another major highlight of Gran Turismo 7, offering a tracklist of 300 songs and new modes, like Music Replay and Music Rally. Music Replay is a classic mode of Gran Turismo, where you can enjoy your driving session’s replay from different camera angles and with music synced perfectly to the camera cuts.
Music Rally is perfect for beginners and newcomers. It’s a feature that lets you enjoy driving while listening to music, as players have to go through the music’s checkpoints on time to get to the end of the songs. All in all, Gran Turismo 7 is what the racing game fanatics were waiting for after Gran Turismo Sport.

GhostWire: Tokyo
Japanese horror movies are scary; terrifying black-haired girls from the Grudge movies still give shivers to us all. And it’s just one of the many folklore creatures haunting the minds of Japanese people. But now, it seems like there’s a hero who is ready to kick them back into the dark abyss from which they came from. GhostWire: Tokyo from Bethesda takes place in a haunted version of Tokyo, where the antagonists of scary movies come alive. Humanity has vanished, and there’s only one hope to close the portals of horrors – a young boy, called Akito.
This gorgeous yet terrifying version of the Tokyo streets is full of ghosts, and Akito sets out to end them all. He doesn’t have any weapons except a bow, but his strength lies in his magical powers. He can draw energy from ghosts and forge more powerful magical attacks. Although the setting is really scary, the developers told gamers that this is not a horror game. Well, let’s let gamers decide on how scary it is.

Babylon’s Fall
This new games-as-a-service title from the legendary developer PlatinumGames (Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) puts the classic ‘Tower of Babel’-story from the Bible into a new, action-packed lore called Babylon’s Fall. The heroes of this story have to grind to power up their weapons and to conquer the demons and creatures of the Ziggurat, the game’s gigantic tower.
A team of four players can fight together in co-op mode to get on top and be the victor. Of course, the heroes have different weapons and they can even carry out three attacks at the same time creating a visually stunning and powerful combo. While games-as-a-service is a good way to get into something new without initial purchase, developers tend to focus on the longevity of these games instead of engaging storylines or satisfying mechanics. And even though the premise of Babylon's Fall seems good, it falls short when it comes to the actual gameplay – it doesn’t offer much more after the first couple of levels. You collect more weapons to create even more powerful combos, but that’s pretty much it. If you are looking for a way to kill time, then Babylon’s Fall may be a great choice for you.

New Video Game Releases for Xbox in March 2022
GTA 5 & GTA Online
Rockstar Games is back with its long-awaited next-generation version of its action- packed adventure heist, Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online. GTA 5 is a blockbuster game which still enjoys success after its initial release in 2013. The misadventures of three different personalities, Michael the ex-entrepreneur, Franklin the muscle and Trevor the maniac, whose faith converges in a big heist, is still a fun story to revisit. As expected, the new editions come with visual upgrades; console players can enjoy grand thefts in glorious 4K 60 fps, with haptic feedback, ray-tracing and faster loading times.
In addition, GTA V and GTA Online come in standalone versions so multiplayer fanatics can enjoy the online version without the single-player story. This decision came because the online version is so huge – Fun fact; even Dr. Dre has a song debut in there. We recommend the new versions for every fan of the franchise, because they can transfer all the single-player and online progression into their next-gen consoles. So they can pick up on their Xbox Series X/S where they left the game on their Xbox One.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the successor of the beloved Borderlands 3; it contains many characters from the franchise and uses similar mechanics, but it’s a different game in many aspects. You won’t get a chance to visit planets with a spaceship-like in Borderlands. Instead, you will fight in magical fantasy lands against classic tabletop roleplaying characters. It’s up to the player to fight through this unjust world and overcome the evil Dragon Lord.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an FPS action-adventure game that gives the Borderlands franchise a fresh take while still being true to its origins. Tiny Tina, Brick and Claptrap are all here to save the world in this stylish fantasy lore. Players can customize their multiclass heroes and gather awesome loot from treasure-filled dungeons.

New Video Game Releases for Switch in March 2022
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Kirby is one of the most classic Nintendo characters next to Super Mario – you know; that Italian plumber guy. Although Kirby also became legendary for its unique platforming elements, what sets aside the lovable and destructive character is the ability to absorb its enemies powers to fight and to solve different types of puzzles.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land look similar to Super Mario Galaxy and Universe at first sight, which is not a surprise. After all, these platformers for the Nintendo Switch transferred from 2D to the third dimension. But even if it’s similar, Kirby’s cute, unique style and the surrounding post-apocalyptic city gives a really interesting visual mixture. And the odd pink ball’s special ability to absorb powers, like wielding swords, growing spikes or throwing fire, will open new possibilities for the franchise in 3D. Fans can hop into the adventures of Kirby now, or can play the 2D version for the Nintendo Switch as well.
