How do I use a Visa Gift Card?

Using a Visa Gift Card is easy. Go to MyPrepaidCenter.com/redeem to enter and redeem the code you received from us. Proceed with creating your profile to receive the 16-digit card number, expiration date and security information. Make sure the merchant accepts Visa Debit Cards or Discover® Cards (U.S.). Make sure the balance of the Mastercard Gift Card is more than the entire cost of the purchase, including taxes. Please note: some transaction types require a hold of up to 20% above the purchase amount. Select ‘Credit’ or ‘Debit’ as the payment method (Do not select ‘Gift Card’) In the “Payment Method” section, enter the card information as you would a debit or credit card.

Are there any restrictions when paying with an instant Visa eGift Card?

Your Visa Gift Card cannot be used for recurring bill payments, memberships, subscriptions, hotel and/or car rental reservations, or getting cash at ATMs. Depending on the merchant, split tender payments may be declined, extra fees or restrictions may apply. 4. It is used for a recurring bill, subscriptions or reservations, which puts a hold on the available funds for up to 30 days.
5. You try to use it in a prohibited country.
6. You choose ‘debit’ instead of ‘credit’ when given the option.
