Creating a PaysafeCard account, officially known as a myPaysafe account, takes just a few minutes and gives you higher spending limits, one place to store and manage your prepaid codes, and a convenient way to pay online without sharing your bank or card details. For smaller purchases, you can simply pay with a prepaid code, but registering becomes useful when you want to spend more or keep and reuse your balance.
This guide covers what you’ll need, how registration works and why opening an account may be worthwhile, especially for customers in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. Conveniently, you can buy PaysafeCard codes from dundle to add to your account. As an authorized PaysafeCard seller, we’ve provided genuine codes to customers worldwide since 2012.
Do you need a PaysafeCard account?
PaysafeCard is a regulated prepaid payment product, and the amount you can spend without registering has a limit by law and by PaysafeCard's own terms. Above that limit, you'll need to open a myPaysafe account and verify your identity before you can keep spending. The exact limit depends on where you live:
United Kingdom: up to GBP 40 per transaction without an account (official UK fees & limits).
United States: up to USD 300 per combined-PIN transaction (official US fees & limits).
Canada: up to CAD 400 per combined-PIN transaction (official Canada fees & limits).
Australia: up to AUD 200 per combined-PIN transaction (official Australia fees & limits).
These limits can change, so always check the current figure on the official page for your country before relying on a specific number. For a full breakdown of what a PaysafeCard costs to hold and cash out, see our guide on PaysafeCard fees and limits.
It’s important to know that PaysafeCard is regulated in each market where it operates, and its issuing entities are overseen by the relevant local authorities. In the UK, for example, Prepaid Services Company Limited holds an e-money licence and is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In the US, PaysafeCard is issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A., a member of the FDIC. And if privacy is one of your main reasons for choosing a prepaid payment method, our guide to how PaysafeCard protects your payments explains the security and privacy measures in more detail.
What information you'll need
Requirements vary slightly by country, but a myPaysafe account generally asks for:
First and last name
Date and place of birth
Nationality
Current address
Email address (for verification and communication)
Mobile number (to receive a verification code)
The minimum age to open a myPaysafe account is generally 16 years old (as per PaysafeCard's official account product information). In the UK, you must be 18 and above to buy a PaysafeCard voucher in a physical store, even though the minimum account age is 16 years old. Rules can differ by country, so always confirm current age and ID requirements on the official site for your market.
Creating a PaysafeCard account
Go to the PaysafeCard website or app and select “Register”.
Enter the country and your address in the first step
Enter your email address and choose a secure password.
PaysafeCard sends a confirmation link by email — click it to activate your account and do not close the tab where you are making the account.
Enter your full name and personal details. Make sure everything matches your official ID documents exactly.
Enter your address details.
Enter your current phone number.
PaysafeCard texts you a verification code — enter it to confirm your number.
If your details can't be verified automatically, you may be asked to upload an ID document (via webcam, phone camera or file upload). Review usually takes a few minutes. Once registration is complete, your myPaysafe account is ready; in the app you'll also set a PIN for extra security and accept PaysafeCard's terms and conditions.
Anything else to keep in mind?
Beyond entering your details correctly, PaysafeCard may run additional identity checks later — for example, requesting an ID upload if that wasn't completed at sign-up. This is especially likely if you manage larger balances or make higher-value transactions. Keeping your account details current helps avoid delays or temporary restrictions.
The benefits of a PaysafeCard account
No more juggling separate codes — everything lives in one account.
Pay easily in online shops using your stored balance.
Higher transaction and spending limits than an unregistered code.
You can update your personal details yourself, any time.
Once your account is set up, you can top up your PaysafeCard balance with new codes whenever you need more credit — then spend it wherever PaysafeCard is accepted online.
Get your PaysafeCard online

You can get a PaysafeCard online at dundle — as an official PaysafeCard reseller, dundle delivers your code by email within minutes, with a choice of payment methods to suit you.
