How to Redeem on iPhone or iPad
The quickest way to redeem your gift card is right on your device:
Open the App Store and tap your profile photo (or the sign-in button) at the top right.
Tap "Redeem Gift Card or Code." You can then use "Use Camera" to scan the code automatically, or enter it manually.
How to Redeem on a Mac
On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name in the bottom-left corner (or sign in), then choose "Redeem Code" and enter the code either manually or scan it using your camera. The balance updates on the same Apple Account you use across your devices.
How to Redeem Online, or on Android and PC
You don't need an Apple device to use the credit. You can redeem on the web by signing in to your Apple Account, and Android users can redeem toward an Apple Music subscription in the Apple Music app; on a PC you can do the same through the Apple Music or iTunes app. Handy if the card was a gift and you're not all-in on Apple hardware.
Where Your Balance Can Be Spent
Once redeemed, your Apple Account balance is used automatically for eligible Apple purchases before any card on file is charged. That includes App Store apps and games, in-app purchases, music, films and books, iCloud+ storage, and subscriptions like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade or Apple One. In the regions where the unified card applies, you can also put it toward Apple hardware and accessories. It can't be used at non-Apple stores or converted into cash.

Can You Redeem More Than One Card?
Yes. You can redeem several Apple Gift Cards to the same Apple Account, and the amounts simply pool into one balance. Just repeat the redeem steps for each code. That's useful if you've received a few smaller cards and want to put them all toward one bigger purchase, like an app bundle, a year of iCloud+ storage, or a piece of hardware like AirPods — there's no need to spend each card separately, and none of the credit expires while it waits.
Redemption Won't Work? Common Fixes
If your code is rejected, it's almost always one of these:
Wrong region: cards are region-locked, so the card's country must match the country of your Apple ID. A US card won't be redeemed on a UK account.
A typo: codes are long and easy to mistype. Just use the camera scan, or copy and paste from your email.
Already redeemed: each code works once; if it's already on an account, it can't be used again.
Signed in to the wrong account: check you're using the Apple Account you actually want to top up.
