While your PaysafeCard prepaid credit does not expire, after 30 days, PaysafeCard will charge a monthly service fee of €3, or £3 for UK customers, for any remaining credit on your prepaid balance unless you are registered for a PaysafeCard account. Be sure to load your code into your account before those 30 days to avoid this fee. Once redeemed on a PaysafeCard account, you have 12 months to use it. From the 13th month on, you will be charged a monthly inactivity fee of €5, or £5 for UK customers to your account so be sure to use your credit within a year!

Are there any fees or restrictions for using a PaysafeCard?

Using a PaysafeCard is essentially free, but some additional fees could apply. Remember to redeem your code to your PaysafeCard account within 30 days to avoid a €3 service fee and to make a purchase using your prepaid credit within 12 months to avoid a €5 inactivity cost. These fees do not apply to users in Germany, the United States and Canada.

Similar to paying with PayPal, it’s becoming more common to pay with your myPaysafe account balance.
