Phone Payments
Plenty of users prefer phone payments, but we know there may still be some questions that come with paying by phone. See our answers below on how to best make use of this convenient payment method.
Very important: Do not start a new partial payment (e.g., transaction 3 out of 4) if you are unable to finalize it.
Make sure you:
- Have enough credit on your phone
- No limits with your phone provider
- Didn't reach your personal weekly limit with DaoPay
Once you start a single (partial) payment, you have 24 hours to pay until this payment expires. After this, you will not be able to complete the entire transaction. Unfortunately, dundle cannot unblock the order once this happens.
If you already made a partial payment and couldn't complete the order, contact our Support team.
Most phone payment providers require you to pay in multiple payments. The mobile provider does this because you will likely need to send several text messages or call for a certain amount of minutes to complete your transaction. The provider will charge you with each call or text (e.g., SMS characters and minutes per call). Prices may vary per country or the phone payment method.
Check the status of your payment on the payment page. Be sure to continue calling or texting until instructed otherwise. If you stop following the instructions, your payment will be incomplete. The duration of the payment process depends on the size of your transaction. The entire process for one order usually takes around 10-20 minutes.
Note: if your order is less than 10 euros, you can usually pay in one go.
The extra charges are set by the phone payment provider of your choosing, not by dundle. Payment providers charge varying fees for SMS and phone payments. Since we do not collect these fees, we, unfortunately, cannot change them. Our own service fees are usually much lower (varying from 1-3 euros) and are shown to you immediately upon checkout.
Most likely, you have reached your spending limit with your phone payment method provider. In most cases, this is a weekly limit (except for Fortumo which has a monthly limit). Don't worry because once the limit is reset, you can complete your order. You can keep track of your transactions by requesting your order history or through the following providers:
If the questions above did not solve your issue, it’s best to contact your payment provider directly.
